Akash Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre (AIMSRC) aims to develop expert medical professionals and serve society by giving capable doctors who have a solid, 360-degree understanding of medicine and healthcare. AIMSRC has a lush green campus of 30-40 acres equipped with high-tech infrastructure and innovative facilities.
Administrative Block: The Administrative block has a vast reception area and a well-laid-out corporate sector that provides accommodation facilities for the Staff.
Central Library: The Central Library has more than 10,000+ collections of medical books in pre-clinical/para-clinical.E-Library and E-Journals facilitate higher learning and research. Library collections also include Printed books, E-books, Back volumes, WHO publications, and other resources.
Skill LAB: The Skill Lab helps students to get relevant skills and they are trained, given repeated practices, and evaluated until they meet the required minimum standard for patient treatment is ensured.
Auditorium: With a seating capacity of 2000 people with air-conditioning, the auditorium serves Club activities, Cultural events, Conferences, and Seminars.
Recreational & Cultural Activities: AIMSRC has facilities for outdoor games including Athletics, Football, Cricket fields, Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis, and Badminton courts. It also has facilities for Indoor games such as Table Tennis, Chess, Carrom, etc. A Gym is also available for both staff & students.
Residential Facilities: AIMSRC has high-quality modern hostels, with 24/7 security. Separate Hostels for Boys and Girls are available with Mess Facilities.
Transport: Shuttle Services are available from campus to Devanahalli. Ambulance with Monitors, Defibrillators, Ventilators, and continuous Oxygen Supply is always kept ready to serve emergencies.
Temple: Lord Hanuman Temple is situated at the entrance of the campus creating a spiritual atmosphere for students, faculty, and patients. They can visit the temple and have a nice long prayer as and when they need.
Hospital Infrastructure & Facilities:
Outpatient & InPatient Block: It comprises a Consultation Room, Waiting Area, and Inquiry and Demonstration room. Male & Female wards with a specified number of beds as per MCI requirements are provided. Each ward has a nurse’s duty room, examination & treatment room, pantry, utility room & duty doctor rooms. A demonstration room for the teaching activity is also available.
Critical Care Units: Critical care units with high-tech specialized facilities and supportive equipment are available which cater to the need-of-the-hour at ICU. Separate Intensive Care Beds With Ventilator Facilities are available in MICU, SICU, PICU, and EICU.
Casualty & Emergencies: They provide round-the-clock services which include attending to and providing immediate services to manage cases of Accident & Trauma, Poisoning, Alcohol toxicity, Medical emergencies & Medico-legal cases.
OT Complex (Operation Theatre): AIMSRC OT complex comprises advanced, fully equipped modular Major OTs. Minor OTs are available for surgical OPD & Casualty. State-Of-Art Modular Operation Theatres With Vertical Laminar Flow Ventilation, Surgical Control, Scavenging System, And Hepa Filters are available.
Radiology: State-of-the-art Radio diagnosis is carried out with a robust team of doctors with expertise in the field, and facilities for routine X-ray, Ultrasound Scanning, CT & MRI are available. Advanced Radiological Services (X-Ray, Colour Doppler, Ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI, Mammogram, Fluoroscopy Special Procedures)
Central Laboratory: State-of-the-Art Laboratory manages all kinds of routine and special investigations that are being conducted.
Blood Bank: AIMSRC Blood Bank is functional 24/7 and responsible for Rapid response to urgent requests for blood components, Checking pre-transfusion samples and requests, Assessing immunological compatibility between donor and patient, and Selecting a suitable blood component for each clinical condition.Blood Bank With Cold Storage
CSSD (Central Sterile Supply Department): CSSD facilitates the supply of equipment both Sterile and Non-sterile which are cleaned, prepared, processed, stored, and issued for patient care in operation theatres, critical care units, casualty & IP wards.
Dialysis: Quality Dialysis Services With Well-Trained And Experienced Staff (For Covid And Non-Covid Wings) are available.
Central Research Lab: A Central Research Laboratory with Endoscopy, Ultrasonography, Bronchoscopy, ECG, 2d Echo, TMT, and PFT facilities is available.
Clinical Psychology Assessment: Psychological Assessment and Psychotherapy treatments are provided to improve the quality of life of individuals.
