Admission process
The admission process at ISBR School of Law is as follows:
Eligibility: Candidates must have passed any degree from a recognized Indian University/or Equivalent of an Indian University with a minimum of 45% marks. For SC/ST students of Karnataka, the minimum mark required is 40%. The age limit for General Category students is 30 years and for SC/ST of Karnataka, it is 35 years as of the date of the academic year (1 June of every year).
Application: Candidates can apply online through the ISBR website. The application fee is Rs. 1000/-.
Selection: The selection process is based on the candidate's performance in the following:
Personal Interview: The personal interview will assess the candidate's communication skills, critical thinking ability, and motivation to pursue a career in law.
Academic Performance: The candidate's academic performance in their previous degree will also be considered.
Admission: Shortlisted candidates will be offered admission to the LLB program.
Scholarships
ISBR School of Law offers a number of scholarships to its students, based on merit and financial need. Some of the scholarships available include:
ISBR Merit Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to students who have scored 75% or above in their previous degree. The scholarship amount is Rs. 10,000/- per year.
ISBR Financial Need Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate financial need. The scholarship amount is Rs. 5,000/- per year.
ISBR SC/ST Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to students belonging to the SC/ST category. The scholarship amount is Rs. 5,000/- per year.
ISBR Women Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to female students. The scholarship amount is Rs. 5,000/- per year.
ISBR Armed Forces Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to students whose parents are serving or retired members of the Indian Armed Forces. The scholarship amount is Rs. 5,000/- per year.
