Eligibility Criteria

Under Graduate

MBBS

  • The candidate must have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (40% for reserved categories). 
  • Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects from a recognized institute.
  • Admission to the MBBS program is based on a valid NEET UG score. For some seats, however, merit-based selection is also used.

 

Post-Graduate

MD/MS

  • Candidates have to be Qualified in the PG entrance Test Conducted by the National Board of Examination, New Delhi
  • Candidates should be passed in the courses leading to the award of  MBBS Degree in colleges recognized by MCI  and affiliated to any University established by law in India.

 

Admission & Selection Process

  • Admission to various programs at SSIMS is made based on the candidate’s performance in Entrance Exams.
  • Candidates are required to obtain minimum qualifying marks in the NEET entrance examination in order to qualify for further admission process.

 

Under Graduate (MBBS)

  • All College seats including the NRI and Management quota are allotted on a merit basis only through KEA counseling.
  • The Candidates will be selected based on the rank obtained in NEET conducted on an all-India basis by the CBSE.


Post-Graduate (MD/MS)

  • All College seats including the NRI and Management quota are allotted on a merit basis only through KEA counseling.
  • Selection will be based on the rank obtained by the students in NEET conducted on an all-India basis by the National Board of Examination.


Cutoff:

  • The cut-off represents the minimum mark prescribed by the selection board for admission purposes for Govt and Private Colleges.
  • The merit list will be created based on the Cutoff scores only.
  • For SC/ST Candidates, they must secure at least 40% for AIQ and state counseling process.

SSIMS has a Sprawling 130 Acres campus located at the heart of South India’s IT Corridor. The campus is centrally located, well-connected, and easily accessible.

  • Hostel Facilities: Separate Hostels are available for Boys and Girls.The hostels are kept up nicely and offer the students a comfortable place to stay. There is also a facility for hygienic food and filtered water. 24x7 power backup facility with high-speed internet.
  • Central library: The 4,100 square meter library at the SSIMS can hold 900 pupils at once. It offers access to a variety of university network databases, e-resources, and OPAC-related access to its sizable collection. It features a separate computer lab, audio-visual room, group study area, and private study area.
  • Spacious Classroom: SSIMS has six air-conditioned lecture theatres in the college building with seating for 300 students. There is also one lecture theatre at the hospital that has seating for 300 students.
  • Auditorium:The Institute's own theatre facilities, which are bigger and prettier and have seating for roughly 1000 people, are available. The auditorium is utilized for both cultural and scientific events like workshops, conferences, and seminars.
  • Transport Facilities: The college provides buses to various roots of the city for the commutation of students and staff from their destination to college and back home at nominal charges. A transport facility is also available to send students and staff to various health centers for training purposes.
