Bar Council of India has rescheduled the AIBE 18 exam, check the new dates here

AIBE 18 revised exam Dates:

The Bar Council of India (BCI) has rescheduled the AIBE 18 exam and extended the date for online registration. The exam will now be held on December 3, 2023, instead of November 26, 2023. The last date to register for the exam has been extended to November 10, 2023, and the last date to pay the registration fee is November 11, 2023.

The BCI issued a notification on October 26, 2023, announcing the revised schedule. The notification also mentioned that candidates will be able to make corrections to their registration forms on November 12, 2023.

The AIBE is a mandatory exam for all law graduates who want to practice law in India. The exam is held twice a year, and the passing percentage is 45% for general and OBC candidates, and 40% for SC, ST, and disabled candidates.

The BCI has not given any reason for rescheduling the AIBE 18 exam, but it is speculated that the decision was made to give candidates more time to prepare for the exam.

Here is a summary of the revised dates for the AIBE 18 exam:

Eligibility Criteria  for AIBE 18 (XVIII) 2023
