WBJEE 2024 Exam Date Released: WBJEEB has currently only announced the exam date for 2024, it will be conducted on April 28, 2024. It is anticipated that the registration process for WBJEE 2024 will commence in December 2023 or January 2024. The WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination) is an annual examination conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) for admission to courses in Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, and Architecture at various participating colleges and universities in West Bengal.
Candidates can register for the WBJEE 2024 Exam by following these steps:
The WBJEE Exam for 2024 consists of two papers: one focusing on Mathematics (Paper I) and the other combining Physics and Chemistry (Paper II). The exam is conducted in an offline mode, where candidates mark their answers on an OMR sheet. Each paper has a duration of 2 hours, adding up to a total of 4 hours for both papers. In Paper I, Mathematics, there are 75 questions, with 50 in Category 1, 15 in Category 2, and 10 in Category 3. For Physics and Chemistry in Paper II, there are a total of 40 questions each, with 30 in Category 1, and 5 each in Category 2 and 3. To answer, candidates choose the correct response from four options and mark it with a blue/black ballpoint pen. The total marks for the exam are 200, with Category 1 questions earning one mark each, and Category 2 questions earning two marks each for correct responses. Negative marking applies to Category 1 and 2, where incorrect answers result in a deduction of ¼ and ½ marks, respectively. However, there is no negative marking for Category 3 questions.
