This year, the cut-off date for eligibility for the exam is August 15, 2024. The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG 2024) will be held on July 7, 2024 and MBBS doctors who finish their necessary internships on or before August 15 will be eligible to take it, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) stated on Tuesday.
The board has suspended its November 9 notice which said that the PG medical entrance exam will be held on March 3.
"...the NEET-PG 2024 examination, which was previously scheduled to be held on March 3, 2024, has been rescheduled." The NEET-PG 2024 will now be held on July 7, 2024," this is what the notification read. "The candidates are advised to check the exact dates of examinations from the Information Bulletins/NBEMS website as the above dates are purely tentative and subject to approvals & confirmations," according to the statement.
Application forms, information bulletins, and other exam-related information will be available on natboard.edu.in. NEET-PG is the country's national-level exam for admission to MD/MS and PG Diploma programmes.

It added that the current NEET-PG test will be continued until the proposed National Exit Test (NExT) for PG admission becomes operational.
