GUJCET 2024 Registration Update: The GUJCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Exam) scheduled for 2024 has undergone a rescheduling, now set for March 31, 2024, instead of the initially planned date of April 2, 2024. This adjustment accommodates the CBSE class XII board examination schedule. Notably, in 2016, GSEB (Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board) made a significant shift, transitioning from Joint Entrance Examination – Main (JEE-Main) to GUJCET for state-level engineering and pharmacy courses.
GUJCET 2024 will feature 120 multiple-choice questions encompassing algebra, physics, chemistry, and biology. Candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct answer, with a deduction of 0.25 marks for every incorrect response.
During the registration process, candidates are required to submit scanned images of their photograph and signature, ensuring adherence to specified guidelines. Additionally, necessary details such as Aadhar card number, family income, academic qualification documents, and contact information (email ID and mobile number) must be provided.
Candidates have the flexibility to make fee payments using credit cards, debit cards, or net banking through the SBI e-Pay system. Alternatively, payments can be completed at any SBI branch across the country, utilizing the 'SBI branch payment' option under SBI e-Pay. Successful payment enables applicants to proceed with the completion of the application form.
This rescheduling and application process adjustment aims to streamline the examination timeline and ensure a smooth registration experience for aspiring candidates.
