The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has announced the reopening of the registration window for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2024, providing a final opportunity for students who were unable to apply or complete the application process during the initial phase. The registration window will be open from March 12 to March 15, 2024.
Candidates interested in appearing for KCET 2024 can apply for the exam on the official website cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. It is essential to note that the deadline for fee payment is March 16, 2024. The decision to reopen the registration window comes after KEA received numerous requests from students and parents who encountered difficulties during the initial application phase.
KEA emphasized the importance of this final opportunity, stating that under no circumstances would the registration dates be extended further. The KCET 2024 examination is scheduled to take place on April 18 and 19, 2024. The exam is crucial for admission to various undergraduate courses in fields such as engineering, naturopathy and yoga, veterinary science, pharmacy, farm science, medical, dental, architecture, and allied health sciences.
Candidates must apply for KCET 2024 to secure admission to programs in medical, dental, architecture, ayurveda, unani, homeopathy, physiotherapy, allied health sciences, and BPO courses. Initially, the last date for application submission was February 20, 2024, but it was extended to February 23, 2024. The registration process commenced on January 10, 2024. Additionally, there was a brief period from January 13 to January 17, 2024, when the KCET 2024 application form was not available.
The examination dates were rescheduled to April 18 and 19, 2024, due to a clash with the National Defence Academy (NDA) exams. KEA urged candidates to utilize this final opportunity to register for KCET 2024 and advised them to adhere to the specified deadlines strictly.
