CUET UG 2025 Registration Deadline Tomorrow; Eligibility Criteria, Changes Introduced This Year
CUET UG 2025 Exam Dates: May 8 to June 1
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2025 registration window tomorrow, March 22. Aspirants can complete their registration at the official website, cuet.nta.nic.in. The deadline for registration fee payment is March 23, 11:50 PM.
CUET UG 2025: Key Changes Introduced
- Candidates can now appear for any subject, irrespective of their Class 12 subjects.
- The number of subjects has been reduced from 63 to 37.
- Teaching aptitude, entrepreneurship, and legal studies have been removed.
- The exam will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT).
- The duration for each paper will be 1 hour.
- General aptitude test scores will be used for admissions regarding discontinued subjects.
- No optional questions will be available.
CUET UG 2025 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have passed the Class 12 exam from a recognized board.
- General category candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks, while reserved category candidates need at least 45%.
- There is no age limit for CUET UG 2025.
- Indian citizens and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) are eligible to apply.

CUET UG 2025 Syllabus Modifications
- The question paper will be based on the NCERT syllabus.
- Eight topics have been removed from the CUET UG syllabus 2025.
CUET UG 2025 Participating Universities
A total of 46 central universities will accept CUET UG 2025 scores, including:
- Aligarh Muslim University (AMU)
- Banaras Hindu University (BHU)
- Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU)
- Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI)
