NEET MDS 2025 Internship Last Date Extended to June 30; Application Window to Reopen Soon

The NEET MDS 2025 internship deadline has been moved to June 30, 2025. The internship has been extended by three months from its original expiry date of March 31, 2025. The Dental Council of India (DCI) announced this in a notification released on March 26, 2025.

According to the DCI, "The GOI has decided to extend the deadline for completing an internship to become eligible for NEET-MDS, 2025 to June 30, 2025". According to DCI, the NEET MDS 2025 exam will take place on April 19, 2025.

For applicants who plan to finish their internship between April 1 and June 30, 2025, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will reopen the NEET MDS 2025 application window. The NBEMS has not yet notified the reopening of the NEET MDS 2025 application window, though.

NEET MDS 2025 Important Dates

The NEET MDS 2025 dates are shown in the following table:

The NEET MDS 2025 application process was from February 18 until March 10, 2025. The window for application corrections was open from March 14 to 17, 2025, and again from March 27 to 31, 2025.

The NEET MDS 2025 application window is expected to reopen in the first week of April 2025, based on an assessment of exam center availability by the conducting authorities, according to NBEMS.

By the way, the NEET MDS 2024 internship deadline was moved from March 31, 2024, to June 30, 2024, last year as well.
