CLAT 2025: Delhi High Court Hearing on CLAT 2025 Result Revision; Final Decision on Counselling Soon

The Delhi High Court has resumed its hearing on the much-awaited CLAT 2025 result controversy today. The court is addressing petitions filed by aspirants challenging the CLAT 2025 UG and PG results. The decision regarding CLAT 2025 result revision, counselling dates, and admission process for National Law Universities (NLUs) is expected soon.

The legal battle over the CLAT 2025 entrance exam has attracted nationwide attention, especially after the alleged errors in the answer key came to light. The CLAT 2025 UG exam was conducted on December 1, 2024, and the CLAT 2025 results were announced on December 7, 2024.

Delhi High Court Questions CLAT 2025 Answer Key

During the last hearing, the Delhi High Court had advised the Consortium of NLUs to appoint better paper setters in the future to avoid errors in the exam. The court examined specific questions from the CLAT 2025 UG paper, particularly a logical reasoning question related to homeless people, where subject experts had divided opinions.

It was also observed that at least one question in the CLAT 2025 UG exam should be scrapped. Senior Advocate Rajshekhar Rao, appearing for the Consortium, also suggested withdrawing certain questions due to flawed framing.

CLAT 2025 Court Hearings: Supreme Court’s Involvement

The CLAT 2025 court hearings gained significance after the Supreme Court transferred multiple petitions related to the exam from various High Courts to the Delhi High Court to avoid conflicting judgments. The Consortium of NLUs had earlier requested the transfer of all cases to the apex court or a specific High Court.

Initially, the Supreme Court had considered transferring the case to the Punjab and Haryana High Court, as the first plea against the CLAT 2025 answer key was filed there. However, the case is now being handled by a division bench of the Delhi High Court comprising Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya and Justice Tushar Rao Gedela.

Delhi High Court Verdict on CLAT 2025 Result Revision

In a significant development, a single-judge bench of the Delhi High Court had earlier directed the Consortium of NLUs to revise the CLAT 2025 results. The court found errors in the answers to two questions in the CLAT 2025 UG paper and asked the Consortium to declare the results accordingly.

However, a two-judge bench refused to intervene in the single-judge order, agreeing that the view taken concerning the disputed questions was correct. The CLAT 2025 result revision is therefore underway as per the court’s direction.

CLAT 2025 College Predictor, Cut-Off Trends, and Counselling

With the CLAT 2025 counselling process set to begin soon, students are anxious about their chances of getting admission to top NLUs. Additionally, experts suggest that the CLAT 2025 expected cut-off might see changes this year due to the ongoing CLAT 2025 court hearings and the possibility of a CLAT 2025 result revision. Aspirants are also advised to stay updated with the latest trends in marks vs rank to get a realistic idea of their admission chances.

The CLAT 2025 case has highlighted critical concerns over the conduct of one of India’s most prestigious law entrance exams. As the Delhi High Court continues to hear the petitions related to the CLAT 2025 answer key, students eagerly await the final verdict on the CLAT 2025 result revision and the commencement of the counselling process.
