The Bar Council of India (BCI) has extended the registration window for the All India Bar Examination - XVIII (AIBE 18) to October 9, 2023. The exam will be conducted on October 29, 2023.
The online registration for AIBE- XVIII started on August 16, 2023. The original last date for registration was September 30, 2023. However, the BCI has extended the deadline in response to requests from students.
To register for AIBE- XVIII, candidates must visit the official website of the BCI and fill out the online application form. They must also upload the required documents, including a scanned copy of their photograph and signature, and pay the application fee.
The minimum passing criteria for AIBE- XVIII is 45% for General category candidates and 40% for SC, ST, and PwD candidates.
Exam pattern
The AIBE is a 3-hour long, objective-type exam with 100 questions. There is no negative marking in the exam. The questions are divided into the following categories:
