Union minister Jitendra Singh advocates UPSC killing of medical professionals in AI and Quantum technology

Union minister Jitendra Singh has put in a visionary proposal to enhance the skill set of medical professionals in cutting-edge technology such as artificial intelligence AI and Quantum science. This initiative AIIMS to equip the health care sector with advanced diagnostic enthalpy tools revolutionizing the way medical care is delivered.

Speaking at the 63rd annual convocation of the National Academy of Medical Sciences India held at Ramaiah Medical College in Bengaluru. Singh emphasized the significance of continuous upskilling particularly for young medical practices. He highlighted Indias pioneering role in preventive and integrated health care and our organizations like NAMS and the government to collaborate in setting the gold standard for patient care.

Singh underscored the potential of preventive health care in visioning it as a pivotal aspect for both healthcare delivery and preserving the vitality of India building youth democracy poise to save the nations future by 2047.

Singh celebrated the country new form status as a global vaccination hub credited with monumental achievements like the DNA-based covered vaccine the worlds first international co-ed vaccine and Cervavac an indigenously developed vaccine preventing cervical cancer among others

Highlighting health care as a top government priority Singh spotlights the remarkable expansion of medical education in India. The number of medical colleges surged from 145 in 2014 to 216 complemented by the establishment of 19 AIIMS institutions. Furthermore, undergraduate medical seats witnessed a staggering 79% increase from 51,348 to 91,927, while postgraduate seats experienced a commendable 93% increase from 3185 to 60,202 during the same period.
