Eligibility Criteria
To pursue a medical course at Ramaiah Medical College Bangalore, students must meet the following criteria:
- Candidates must have completed 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as main subjects from the authorized board.
- Candidates must be of 17 years of age or should have reached the same on 31st December of the admission year.
- Candidates must qualify for the Medical Entrance Exam NEET.
- PG Applicants must have qualified for an MBBS degree and should have cleared the NEET PG entrance exam. Also, the applicants must have completed their 1-year internship during the MBBS course.

Ramaiah Medical College collects fees according to the mode of admission. 85% of the students who come through CET will have to pay Approx ₹10 lakh per year (Depends on Government decision) and the other 15% with a higher fee structure. NRI students’ fees come around ₹40 lakhs per annum. The Hostel fees come around ₹1.25 lakh to ₹2.5 lakh per year.

NEET Exam 2021:
The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the only entrance exam for an MBBS degree which is conducted annually by the National Testing Agency (NTA). NEET is one of the most sought-after exams and also a tough exam to clear. To take only the best of the best future medicos, NEET has been set. It is a pen and paper exam conducted in 5000+ test centers across the nation. It is a 3-hour test. Around 90,000 seats in many medical and dental colleges are admitted with the help of NEET marks.
Previously, there were many medical entrance exams like private entrance exams, state governments conducted entrance exams and some states took students based on their 12th class scores. Recently, all these exams were dismissed and made invalid. These exams were replaced by the single medical entrance exam – NEET.
Ramaiah Medical College Admission Process 2022:
Admission at RMC can be done through the entrance exam / Management quota / NRI Quota. Still, the Management quota requires qualifying for the NEET exam. All the seats are filled through the online counseling held by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) based on the NEET score.
